REFUND/CREDIT/TRANSFER POLICY
Chiefs Flag Football requires all potential participants to fully understand the refund policy prior to registering. Each registration includes an acknowledged waiver.
The league discourages participants from registering only on condition of specific team placement or coach assignment. In the event players are not assigned as requested, refunds will not be issued.
Refunds may only be considered upon request. To initiate the process, send an email to [email protected]. Refund consideration will be evaluated every Tuesday, and we will respond by email with the decision.
Please Note:
All refund/credit considerations must be received prior to the registration deadline.
No refunds will be issued for merchandise purchased at the time of registration or during the season, except for manufactured defects.
Refunds for illness or emergencies will require documentation and are subject to Chiefs Flag Football's discretion.’
Chiefs Flag Football reserves the right to cancel activities due to insufficient enrollment or other conditions beyond our control, and credit for future programming will be given.
All processing fees and donations are non-refundable (no exceptions).
Refund Amount Determination:
The refund amount will be based on the number of days prior to the registration deadline when the refund request was made by email.
Each circumstance will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
If a refund is approved, there will be a $30.00 administrative and processing fee, which applies to all approved refunds and is non-negotiable.
Refunds will not be considered for:
Requests made after the registration deadline.
Situations resulting from the participant's over-scheduling.
Missed practices or games due to the participant's unwillingness or inability to commit the minimum required hours per week.
Falsifying Information Policy
If you are caught falsifying information on this registration, your child/ward will be removed from this program with absolutely no refunds or credit being provided. Teams are formed by school and by age/grade appropriateness. The integrity of this league depends on the truthfulness of this information. Therefore, Chiefs Flag Football reserves the right to request proof of school, grade, or age, and you agree to provide such proof. Failure to provide requested proof may result in your child/ward’s removal from the program with no refund, at the sole discretion of Chiefs Flag Football. This Falsifying Information Policy will be applied consistent with the Chiefs Flag Football Refund Policy, which is incorporated herein by reference.
Note about Excusable Delays and Force Majeure:
Chiefs Flag Football acknowledges that circumstances beyond its control may delay or prevent performance under this Agreement. Such circumstances include acts of God, epidemics, wars, or government instructions (Force Majeure).
In the event of Force Majeure, Chiefs Flag Football's performance will be excused. This does not cancel or terminate the Agreement unless communicated in writing. The timeline for performance will be adjusted accordingly.
